The Family Child Care Environmental Rating Scale (FCCERS) is a comprehensive, reliable and valid tool that is designed 

to assess Family Child Care programs conducted in a provider's home for children from infancy through school-age. 

Using this scale, we can assess whether your Family Child Care home is providing the necessary space, materials, 

activities and interactions that give developmentally appropriate experiences to the children receiving child care. 

The scale consists of 38 items organized into 7 subscales:
